3rd Annual Golf Tournament August 14, 2009 We held our 3rd Annualy Golf Tournament once again at the beautiful and local Olde Homestead Golf Club. 10K Race & 5K Fun Run / Walk Event March 28, 2009 UpGrade Lifestyle, Inc. and Manion Chiropractor were our Title Sponsors for our first annual 10K Race & 5K Fun Run / Walk fundraiser event. Other sponsors included Applebees, Fitness Central, The Finish Line, The Heart Care Group, Foulkers at The Blue Ridge, Pinnacle Racing, and Small Business Associates. The Bagel Bunch donated bagels, Break of Dawn Coffee donated the coffee, and Nestle Waters donated water. A special thank you to our sponsors! The official 10K results are here. 2nd Annual Harlem Wizards versus the Northwestern All-Stars March 22, 2009 The Harlem Wizards returned to New Tripoli and entertained a nearly packed gymnasium once again. Once again, this event was made possible by the generous donation from the New Tripoli Bank. One lucky fan also had the chosen to earn $10,000 for a half court shot! All Alumni Reunion August 23, 2008 Clear blue skies and warm weather provided the perfect backdrop for our first All Alumni Reunion held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Ontelaunee Park in New Tripoli. "This is absolutely great" was just one of the common accolades that attendees were quick to share as more than 350 alumni, staff members and friends of Northwestern Lehigh joined together for a day filled with fun, laughter and camaraderie.
2nd Annual Golf Tournament August 15, 2008 We held our 2nd annual golf tournament on August 15th and it was another successful event! Last year's event and this year's event was held at the local Olde Homestead Golf Club. The Harlem Wizards versus the Northwestern All-Stars April 6, 2008 The Harlem Wizards played the Northwestern All-Stars, which was comprised of faculty members and previous 1,000 point award winners. This event was an enormous success, an excellent community event, and raised over $7,500! A special thank you to the New Tripoli Bank for serving as the title sponsor. We also thank PrintConcepts for the uniform donation and Applebee's for the food donation. Preview of Harlem Wizards March 25, 2008 "Mighty" Mike Simmel of the Harlem Wizards entertained the students of the Northwestern Lehigh School District on Tuesday, March 25. Simmel showcased his skills and created a buzz among the students in preparation for the upcoming Harlem Wizards vs. Northwestern All-Stars game on Sunday, April 6. A "wizard" for seven years, Simmel commanded the attention of students in the high school, middle school, and both elementary schools during lunch periods. The energy and enthusiasm Simmel projected was felt by students, teachers and staff members alike. 1st Annual Golf Tournament August 17, 2007 The first annual golf tournament was held on August 17th at the Olde Homestead Golf Course. The event was a tremendous success and the Foundation raised over $8,000. The Olde Homestead Golf Course said they have never seen a more successful first time event ever. Click HERE for footage from the event. 2nd Staff Tribute Letter Program May 15, 2007 The second staff tribute letter program was mailed out with a return date of May 15, 2007. This program raised a little over $300. 1st Staff Tribute Letter Program December 15, 2006 The NWLEF launched its first fundraiser in the form of the Staff Tribute Letter Program. This is a program where students can honor school teachers and faculty for the terrific work they do throughout the year. Anyone can make a donation in honor of a teacher or faculty and all donations go directly into the Foundation to be used for programs and events for the School District. This program raised over $800.
